I fixed injecting my old save game by deleting exibition.dat, friend1.dat and update.dat, renaming old garden.dat to garden_plus and injecting. If that doesn't work try going to the eshop and repairing the software, and using an updated garden_plus file and getting it's NAND value. Make sure all 3 are deleted from the SD card.

Don't you mean "importing"?

From my understanding so far u guys are saying that in order to import an older garden.dat you have to have another garden_plus.dat & get the NAND value from that new one and update the old one off of the garden_plus's NAND?

Btw, after you edit the room sizes, you'll also want to edit the house size, which is on offset 0x5d904

From the size offset on, the next bytes are in this order. Note that the bytes repeat themselves, so you need to replace them twice!

If you want a Zen Mansion, just go to the SIZE offset and Paste Write this:

There must be something different between EUR version and the US version(not too surprising) because some of these apply for the US version, but some also don't. If we could get a new list of the U.S. working offsets now, that'd be great because:

hi guys i half-fixed my problem i posted earlier, but something odd has happened and I really dont know what to do now. I saw a previous post from Marc saying how to recover your garden_plus etc as i needed to recover mine from before. The map on the editor is correct, but it isnt showing in-game. Yes i have imported the correct save file and everything is fine, part from the fact the garden_plus file isnt showing in-game and im really stuck for what to do!!

is it possible to add a feature where you can remove/add grass with specific squares rather than the whole town map? this would make it much easier to create dirt paths,, if not can it be done by hex editing and if so is someone willing to explain to me how to do it?

Its okay to move em as long as you dont put them too close to the railroad fence or a river, otherwise you're able to clip and walk around areas you cannot reach.

Wait, you had more than one garden file on your sd card in the same folder? Why would you do that...? You can only use one Garden file at a time. Also, just renaming garden to garden_plus will not work...at all.

You have 3 saved old files, including one that's untouched yes? Make a copy of that one, and then use your NEW town's NAND to update it. Also don't play your game until after you inject your changed save file.

If you're doing everything right, and you're still getting errors, it's possible that the problem is your SD card. Try the process again with a different card, and see if you get different results. Make sure that you only have 1 garden_plus.dat file in your import folder at a time.

quick question, im trying (and failing) to restore my old savefile that i ruined basically and i restarted my town and exported the savefile and the garden.dat is the new town BUT my garden_plus.dat is the town im trying to recover. i DONT understand. CAn soMEONE please help.
