Scenario 1: A certain cheat is causing problem.
Solution: Take out codes 1 by 1 to determine issue.
Scenario 2: Your cheat title is too long or has symbols [-] making it crash.
Solution: Remove any unnecessary dashes, space out numbers in title, shorten cheat name. See scenario 1.
Scenario 3: Game crashes after turning on several cheats.
Solution: Don't use a lot of cheats at the same time. 6 or less. Obviously similar cheats might clash and crash on you.
Scenario 4: Atmosphere crashes when triggering overlay menu.

Scenario 1: Clicking into the Edizon app says "no cheats found!"
Solution: ACNH will only appear in the Edizon / Tesla Popup menu. Press L + Dpad Down + RS (Right Stick Click down)
Note: Please check your current build ID.
Scenario 2: Empty Pockets cheat should be the very last cheat.
Solution: Move your Empty pocket (clear inventory) to the end of the file.
Scenario 3: Your file is greater than 32kb.
Solution: Delete unneeded cheats

Common SX OS error. I do not have SX OS to know what causes this. Since my cheats were built on AMS, it is possible that some cheats like pocket cheats are AMS only. Please delete your file and build your own file from scratch.

You will occasionally come across the Communication Error when connecting via lan play, due to Edizon's ACNHPoker's/Save Editor RAM Editing.
1. Hard reboot your switch -- if you have two switches, hard reboot both. Soft reboot will not help.
2. Disable edizon and do not turn it on until you are connected to the other.
Try connecting... if you still can't...
3. Go into your AMS/Contents folder and delete unnecessary mods that interfere with lan play. Common ones include files associated with Bluetooth (like syscon) and Switch Lan-play.
4. Hard Reboot, disable edizon & try again
Try connecting... if you still can't...
5. Hard Reboot your internet router (trust me) & physically stand next to your router
6. Hard Reboot switches
7. Disable edizon & try again
8. If you still get an error... uninstall Edizon/Tesla completely and hard reboot again.
Try connecting... if you still can't (ABSOLUTELY LAST RESORT!!!!!!!!!!)
9. Back up your SD & reformat your SD card to FAT32 and reinstall clean copy of AMS.. don't forget your sigpatches, reinstall game, update to latest game FW
10. Do not install edizon so you can rule this out completely
11. Try connecting
If you really made it this far and it's still not working, sorry - you may have a weird game ban.

IF YOU ARE USING ACNHPOKER WITH SYSBOT-BASE 1.7:
Since Sys-botbase v1.7 Switching back from dmntcht, if you have a cheat file that could be loaded,
AMS would attach dmntcht to the process upon launch, blocking sys-botbase from attaching itself to the process.
* Disable Edizon (press L when you boot in the game and hold it til the title screen, pls see Disable Edizon tab

This is not a cheat request thread. Anything spawned directly into your pockets will not catalog. Furniture must be dropped and picked up for it to register. Bugs and Fish will not register in Critterpedia if gifted (ACNHSE: wrap anything with wrapping paper and gift it) but you can donate them.
No ban discussions on this thread or in my DMs. You should already know how to block your modded Switch with 90dns or incognito and you run the risk of being banned on your modded switch. Unmoddded clean Switches have 0 reports of being banned for simply being locally connected to a modded Switch. This doesn't mean you should not protect your modded Switch. Redirect your banned questions to the thread actually created for it.
I don't recommend edizon for DIY sets & cataloging especially when you have 2 switches.
if you use edizon and you're trying to catalogue, you have to:
1. spawn
2. drop all spawn
3. pick up
4. item is finally catalogued
There are maps posted here, follow the thread for more cataloging map content!
Load the map layout you want. Go through every tab under MAPS and LOAD all acres, all buildings, all terrains, all items
Finally, local connect and have your 2nd character catalogue!!!!!
Same thing with DIYs
1. Map editing > Field Edit > Remove > spawn all > sequential DIYs
2. second character learn/ pick up
