Hacking Animal Crossing Lets go to the City CRASHING

Hi, the game Animal Crossing for Wii,

I made a backup today, and the orginal disk plays just fine, but when I use the backup loader with my harddrive attachted, it KEEPs crashing....

very very frustrating... =((

What am I doing wrong?


Reinstalling the backup didnt work =o

EDIT: using coverfloader, rc 5.

Disable WiiConnect24 or use cIOS rev9.
It's a bug in the newer cIOS'.

Rev12 has the same problem. Not sure about 13a/b, but I guess it's the same.

You can install the USB Loader-compatible Hermes' cIOS as IOS222 and use it for playing Animal Crossing in USB Loader GX. I think that ones doesn't have any crashes.

Battelion Wars is having those problems aswell, second time now. (not quite often though) but its frustrating.. cause you cant save, and well crashes I hate crashes,... thats the thing about Nitnendo..

Wait...what? So this is Nintendo's fault how?

It's not a hard process to downgrade your cios version. Just run the cios rev9 installer and it will change to that one and you won't have animal crossing crashes anymore. It'd be the same process as upgrading to rev12 or 13, they all just install over eachother.
