Hacking an error has occured (3ds)

Hello,

I have a problem with my r4 card. I updated my 3ds to play pokemon sun, but now my r4 card wont work anymore (i think it is not updated). It gives this messages when is start it up: "an error has occured. hold the power button......". I have tried formatting the sd/r4 card and downloading the latest firmware for my card, but it keeps giving me the same error. please help i really wanna play pookemon platinum again

If u just follow the guide nothing bad will happen
