Unfortunately no.

If YSM3 supports the game generate a sav file with Wood and load the game from YSM3 or any other firmware which is supports the game. That is the best thing what you can do currently.

In the first post the working card list need confirmation. Looks like then it doesn't work with M3 Perfect. That error which you have written happens if the dldi patching is bad.
Anyone can confirm that it doesn't work on M3 Perfect? Anyway I just edit the first post.

Hopefully I am not just stupid... I dragged the whole contents of the folder to the root of my SD card for my iTouchDS, and I can't get woodr4 for m3 to work. What am I doing wrong o,o (I want it to autoboot)

Autoboot doesn't work with iTouchDS. It do autoboot in a different way. I don't have iTouchDS card so I don't know that card. In my opinion if you want to make it autoboot you have to found which file is loaded and you have to replace it with wood.nds. I will take a look at it, but I can not test my results!

Autoboot doesn't work with iTouchDS. It do autoboot in a different way. I don't have iTouchDS card so I don't know that card. If I'm right the boot.eng loads the itouch.eng in the iTouch folder.

So try to put this into your sd card and let overwrite the original files. You also have to put the boot.eng from the original iTouch. I don't know it is working or not. If it is working I will include it in the next version.

I'm a little lost on how to install MenuDO and use the WoodR4 loader on my M3i Zero. I installed MenuDO for the M3 REAL from the MenuDO website, then I copied the files mentioned in the OP. My MenuDO crashes when I start it now. Am I missing a step?

You don't need to copy everything:

gaborosAfter you have downloaded and installed the MenuDO correctly and downloaded that package you have to copy the menudowood.nds and nds.ini into the _menudo/donors folder and from to the __rpg folder the woodload.ini to your __rpg folder in the sd card. If you wish to use that m3loader.nds just copy that file as well and that will work. But if you want to use my loader you have to edit the woodload.ini.

Stupid question from a noob



Have been using Sakura for my son's ds. Was fine till last version when the cheats broke.

Thought I would try wood - it has been getting good reviews.

I looked in the first post - where is the download? (I know I must just be looking in the wrong place)

Other than that, I might want to point out to the M3 Quadboot project, which is a sticky in the M3 Adapter Subforum, it will allow you to still stick to Sakura as starting / default firmware and change to Wood for M3 or Ysmenu easily through loading their.nds files, when you need it.

The same can be also done with the Wood from here, you don't necessarily need to replace Sakura completely, just that the Quadboot project also has Ysmenu.

Also, I guess cheats are of some importance to you since you mentioned it being broken in the newest sakura. Keep in mind that sakura handles cheats different than wood, so you should grab a recent version of a cheat database compatible to wood and place it where Wood needs it (won't interfere with the cheat db that sakura uses, it's just that both firmwares use another type of database).

Guys someone have same problem with Pokemon SS/HG(US/EUR) on the latest Wood?
Than i reset it by L+R+Select+Start the game is freeze with white screen...

I will test it on latest YSM all works fine but on Wood it doesn't...
Tell me if you have something like that.
