Code:
 Â Â Â Â Âx² - x² = x² - x²
 (x - x)(x + x) = x(x - x)
 -------------- Â----------
   (x - x)   Â(x - x)
    Â(x + x) = x
       2x = x
       Â2 = 1

I was going to make a comment, but my thoughts arent straight enough for it to make sense on a message board. The only thing that comes to might that DOES make sense is F.O.I.L.

I've seen this a few years ago.
This is simply called a paradox but there's still something wrong with it. In maths, the parentheses always have the priority so you have to solve them first before divinding (x-x)'s. And since x-x = 0 it's going to be 0 = 0
