Is it possible? Can it be done? I thought of this while I was waiting for the bell to ring in high school today! I was thinking all you do for different file types is just change it so it can support .nds .z64 . and so on and so fourth. This would be zetta awesome if it were possible!~

Hmm.... I'm guessing with it all in one, it would have a lot of problems!

    You're thinking of MESS.
Its newest systems are the GBA and the N64 (iirc), but it emulates almost every obscure system ever released.

If you're looking for something more modern, take your pick of Mednafen, BizHawk, or Higan.

    I forgot
It wouldn't really be hard to just, y'know, make a launcher that associates an emulator with each file. Project64 for N64, VBA for GB/C/A, etc etc. In fact, I'm sure there's something like that around the interwebz anyways.

Well there's been a few combos like people said, but they tend to have a specific goal. Higan (formerly BSNES) focuses on accuracy over performance, BizHawk is specifically for TASing, etc.
