alright, this is gonna sound really stupid, but this has happened to me twice (power led only, black screens on boot)
if you have a game cartridge in, try taking it out and blowing in the slot, then boot without the cartridge in.
i wouldn't even mention this to anyone if it hadn't fixed my 3ds twice.

oh well, worth a shot. that fix might only work with o3ds anyway since the thread i found it in was pretty old
Wait I don't understand what went wrong here for him. I was eager to install a9lh on my N3ds 11.2 as well, but I followed https://3ds.guide and had no problem. Why would you downgrade to 9.2 from 11.2 if fasthax allows you to directly downgrade to 2.1? If you booted into decrypt9 you weren't supposed shutdown, correct? Rather press select and eject your sd card. Well it's not possible to check the video anymore, since the up loader deleted it lol.
That's good,but in future please follow 3ds.guide anf if you have question just ask
the problem was following that youtube guide. The process is on a very early stage and doing wrong any single step could break everything..

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.
The issue is DRM -

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
