One minor correction:

The Downgrader is not threaded, so anywhere during the time it says "Downloading", it hasn't actually installed anything.

There was a user whose Wii got stuck during an IOS change -- namely during the time it said "Downloading/Installing - XX%". I told him he would be fine restarting his Wii, and surely enough, it booted with no problem.

Also, keep in mind that this software is still based on the cIOS/Wad Installer, which require that a full WAD be present. If it's partial, it can't verify the files and thus won't install. So, even if it were threaded, it wouldn't be installing a partial WAD.

so will my question be answered?

I'm assuming you followed the instructions, correct?

You used the cIOS Installer to install IOS30, and from there, used the downgrader?

The error you're describing is typically related to a user not having the IOS30 on the root of the SD card.

  • Nobody will or rightfully can link this to you. It contains Nintendo's copyright code.
  • Find it on Google
  • Can't find it, look again

there is a way to download it from nintendos server

you just need to know the filenames and how to make a wad out of it, then you can download it from
https://nus.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/0000000100000025/

did nintendo change the way to access there servers again? doesnt work for me(i have my brower set up for wii shop, not used it for a long time tho)

try http://ccs.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/0...000025/tmd

then /00000000, /00000001 , etc for all the content files

strangely, you can even download VC titles like this
blink.gif

from wiibrew.org:

QUOTE
A Title-ID is a 64-bit number that describes an "application" -- generally, a channel or a game. The high 32 bits are used to indicate the type of title, and the low 32 bits are used to identify the particular title.

By convention, a Title-ID may either be written as 16 hex digits (e.g. 0000000100000002 or 00010000525a4445) or in two hexadecimal or ASCII parts (e.g. 1-2 or 10000-RZDE).

so IOS37 = 1-25 = 0000000100000025

they are organised with links here:
http://darkfader.net/wii/vc/

(don't see how it could be illegal to post when the links are to nintendos own servers)

all i want to know is if we can download tickets this way?

yes you can, that's what i mean with "when you know the filename"

Is that a yes to the ticket question?

can anyone help me with this please...

links for nintendo server does not work, it should be : http://ccs.cdn.shop.wii.com/ccs/download/ as base address, followed by the title ID in hexa (0000000100000025 for IOS37) and the title content files (/tmd, /00000000, /00000001, ...)

for VC piratz, ticket (tik) can not be downloaded this way
