    Hey guys! I've got a problem with my Acekard when I try to update it with the 3DS fix.

    It says it completes succesfully, but when I run it theres a black screen, then it flashes 'loading' on the screen and goes black again. I can un-brick it by using Mum's DS Lite to wipe the Acekard's flash memory (right terms?). It goes like this every time (done it 3 times now). I'm using the official update off Acekard.com, so I'm starting to think my Acekard is a fake one (although it worked when I did the DSi fix). It's a HW8181 or whatever, not the HW4444 which I read doesn't work with the fix (I'm probably wrong).

    Any help would be great :)

    What's the firmware version of your 3DS?

    My firmware is 4.3.0-10E. FYI, it does the same flashy trick on my DSi, and Mum's DS Lite.

    Format your micro sd card and you should get a NDSL and another flashcard(such as : ak2i ,dstwo,r4i sdhc or any one card ,here i called “A”), which works properly on NDSL.

    1.Download the latest A card firmware ,and unzip them,open the folder and copy the root files into your micro sd card.
    2.download ak2i updated patch and unzip it,open the folder , you will get following files _akaio files ,ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSi_DSXL_3DS.nds , as well as ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSL.nds.
    3.Just copy ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSL.nds to your Micro SD card;
    4.Just power your NDSL on and boot up ak2ifw_update_3ds30_dsi144_onDSL.nds. with “A” card;
    5.Take “A” card out of the NDSL;
    6.Reinsert your broken ak2i into the NDSL;
    7.Press KEY_A and the updating process will begin;
    8.You should keep your NDSL powered on during the updating process;
    9.IF the result shows SUCCESS, it means you have updated your acekard 2i 3ds successfully and this card can work on

    I got it working! I hadn't bricked my Acekard, all that was wrong was the AKIO firmware I had was too old to run on my 3DS. I formatted my card and put the new AKIO on it and it's all working now :D

    Thanks again for the help, guys ;)
