I find this quite ironic actually. A guy telling me to get serious while he offers nothing of any kind of source material. Only saying "it obvious..."

YOU CAN'T ERASE THE TWILIGHT HACK. IT'S A SOFTWARE GLITCH USING AN SD CARD.
Even if they ban the Twilight Hack save file, there can be ways around this. This guys probably thinks Nintendo'll raid everyone's houses and steal their TP disks to eliminate all chances.

EDIT: This forum's full of people with modded Wii's, and people who are already using homebrew. How can you try and warn them of the risks? >_> Noob.

The other thing is that it's NOT THAT SERIOUS.
1. As previously mentioned, Nintendo won't brick Wii's with Homebrew. What if some totally ignorant kid installed it and his Wii bricked? His soccer Mom will create a press shitstorm that no company would want because she will say he didnt know etc. etc.

2. Nintendo are already playing defensive: Evidence, they are still changing the way the DVD-Drives work to foil existing Modchips, while the D2CKey team continues to crack them.

3. Homebrew is of course based on holes that were not meant to be exploited. Will the holes be closed? Who knows, but probably(see PSP). But the reality is, that someone will find another hole(which they have already apparently) and it will continue.

4. People who steal VC games and the like can get fucked & banned by Nintendo for all I care, because you are exposing yourself greatly as opposed to running your Emu on your PC. But then again, that's Piracy, not Homebrew.

Actually if you read something, they've mentioned that the glitch is easily fixed if I remember correctly.
