ROM Hack A unique pokemon hack, what do you think

This probably is not going to be possible unless you learn how to do hex editing and that stuff.
If you want an idea, even the third gen doesn't have a tool for specifically editing the Pokémon sprites.

I can hex edit, had a bit of practice, anyway off to bed now, ill look into this properly tomorrow

I can help you, if you want, with the extract and reinsertion of the sprites, is not that difficult. I think that kazo made a toolbox for B/W, but I don't remember if it has a sprite changer.

Edit: found it http://projectpokemon.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=7693&d=13024 though I don't know if you can edit pokemon sprites with BWSE

not 99,9 % chance, sprite compressed is only on animated sheet sprite and some sprite are need nscr/ncer (0x10)... is just ncgr and narn only, compressed with 0x11.

yeah easy to reinsert them but hard to reposition sprite.

Uhuh that'll do it, but I think the fifth generation does not have to be repeated because it's an 5th gen hack.
nothing new original on that.. so It's not worth it.

How optimistic. Yeah sure a lot of projects like these don't happen, but there's no reason to spam like this. BTW what happened to your menudo project and that other pokemon one you started?

OT: You would want to do some research before posting these types of hacks, if you don't, you get really bad feedback like some here.

I like how people rag on you for having ideas. I think its cool that you have ideas. Like how I wish your pokemon could follow you around in b/w like they did in hg/ss. Will i ever do it? no. Because I don't have the know how. but its my idea, and I should be allowed to have it. I would never say someone shouldnt be allowed to have ideas, even if i don't like them. it's their freedom

Sure, but there are a million of ideas - who doesn't want a Pokémon game with all 5 regions, all Pokémon, all Gym Leaders..
We also want Team Rocket, Team Galactic, Team Aqua and Team Magma to return and Pokémon should start following the Trainer again. We also want other, new sprites and many more.

The problem is, if you can't actually create a project, then do not post a topic about it. Otherwise, create a general idea topic, otherwise it's useless to spam around your ideas and ask others to work out your ideas: because nobody will.

@yusuo, I still recommend you to keep working on this project though - if you really want it, then show them that you're working on it by posting screenshots and things like that. Also, it's better to reverse your order: FIRST work on your hack and THEN create a topic about it: primarily to avoid hateful comments.
