I have a question.
a friend buy a dsi , but the seller boy , say he cant connecting to internet
the reason?
the seller boy say= nintendo can block your console if you use r4..
this is true or false?

i say to my friend , this is false but he have fear...

nintendo can block your dsi if you use r4 games?

Only if you cheat, that is. I don't think nintendo can identify a flashcart from a retail game on a dsi or prior systems in the family.

And also, there's no way nintendo is going to block/brick your friends console just because he/she uses a flashcart. Maybe the seller meant blocking the r4 through dsi's firmware updates?

i haven't read about anyone being blocked for cheating with ds games. i've only heard about wii systems being blocked for cheating. i play the mario kart track hack online all the time, i've easily played hundreds of games and never had a problem.

the reason the kid can't get online is because he has no idea how to set up WIFI for the ds or there is a hardware problem with his ds.
