I've been lurking around here for a while now and mooching help for my Wii, and I just wanted to leave my breadcrumbs for future users.

And also to sum up my sentiments: THANK YOU, to:

@XFlak for ModMii, which hacked my Wii in the first place. And did the region change. And installed neek2o. And built my emunand. https://gbatemp.net/threads/modmii-for-windows-official-support-topic.207126/
many people for BootMii, which facilitates neek2o and also protects me from my mistakes https://bootmii.org/credits/
@DacoTaco for Priiloader, which bakes in various fixes and autoboots my backup loader https://gbatemp.net/threads/priiloader-0-9-released.556986/
@fledge68 for Wiiflow (Lite) which is the main backup loader on my Wii. https://gbatemp.net/threads/wiiflow-lite.422685/
@Cyan for USB Loader GX because it's great too https://gbatemp.net/threads/usb-loader-gx.149922/, as well as the vital stuff he maintains here, including:
- https://gbatemp.net/threads/wii-backup-manager-for-windows.188295/ for managing Wii and Gamecube games from PC
@Tetsuo Shima for compiling and maintaining his plugin pack, which supports emulators in Wiiflow https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-great-quest-for-wiiflow-plugins-a-call-for-adventurers.563575/
@Maxternal for SourceMenuEditor which lets you configure Wiiflow's Source Menu in a GUI https://gbatemp.net/threads/maxternals-wiiflow-plugins-and-java-apps.344802/
many people for Nintendont, which runs Gamecube games splendidly on Wii https://gbatemp.net/threads/nintendont.349258/
@Extrems for Not64, which has terrific compatibility with a notoriously hard-to-emulate system https://github.com/extremscorner/not64/releases
@SuperrSonic for a custom build of Retroarch, configured just for Wii (my NES, SNES, FBA) https://github.com/SuperrSonic/RA-SS
ekeeke for Genplus GX, an exemplary SMS/Genesis emulator https://github.com/ekeeke/Genesis-Plus-GX
endrift for mGBA, my pick for GB/A/C emulation https://mgba.io/downloads.html
@Wiimpathy for the bleeding edge of arcade emulation on Wii https://gbatemp.net/threads/mame-2003-plus.499497/ https://gbatemp.net/threads/large-neogeo-games-support-and-cps3-tests.493767/
@nanook for NKit, for archiving Gamecube games https://gbatemp.net/threads/nkit-re...-and-gamecube-disc-images-as-playable.548479/
@Wiimm for WIT, for manipulating ISOs https://gbatemp.net/threads/wwt-wit-wiimms-wbfs-iso-tools.182236/
parannoyed for Wii Nand Extractor, for manipulating nand backups (and ultimately transplanting files to an emunand) https://sites.google.com/site/parannoyedwii/projects/wii-nand-extractor

Thanks to everyone whose work they built on. And everyone I forgot to mention.
Thanks to many others (and many of the above) for their help and patience with my many questions.

My childhood lives on this console now, thanks to you.

Certainly, it's never bad to take the chance and thank all the people keeping the Wii alive and well, all the people in your thread and more users still doing good stuff still!

I don't maintain WiiBackupManager, but thanks.
Unfortunately, Fig2k (the dev) left without sharing the sources, even though we asked for them a few times. He always said "there's nothing special here, anybody can do the same". except, nobody did :P

Haha @Cyan, my apologies for implying "maintaining" in the coding sense. I meant maintaining the forum posts and links, you've done a ton of legwork here keeping threads updated and sources available. Probably more than half of the older threads I used on these forums, with a departed creator, were updated by you.

I would like a Predator game "Kill Team" it takes place in the Jungle of the first movie, your team is sent to hunt the predator, using current tech drones and a trained team. Set traps use strategy to hunt and trap or kill the predator.
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Ill stick with my Battlefield. Yea a predator hunting game like that would be cool. Esp if you can be Arnold and say "Get to da choppa"

I went today and looked at a motorcycle someone was selling. I get there and the battery on it was dead, so the guy grabbed a battery charger and hooked it up. He plugged it into the wall, and the motorcycle sparked and started smoking.
