My wii laser is too weak that real games cannot be played on my wii. I recently tried wii gamma backup loader and that works. The question is, is the gamma backuploader optimize the laser in order to play the games, since I can no longer run real games? Oh (and I know this question is kinda stupid), is there a hack that would allow me to play real wii games (like the backuploaders) when the wii's laser is this weak?

I'm pretty sure the sign of a weak laser would be the opposite way round and only play originals. Are you comfortable with a cotton bud and isopropanol to clean the lens if not try the official Wii laser lens cleaner?

I don't know. The only reason that the laser is weak is because I left it plugged in for a while with the red light. I had a modchip but games don't run on it anymore, only the older games do and the older real games (like wii sports and loz tp). But the gamma backup channel works and allows me to play backups.
