Are you going to wait for an all-in-one clone with better features or gamble on the Gateway card with limited functions?

If you're one of those people who bought the 3DS on launch day and are desperate to play bunches of roms, then for now, this is as good as it gets. I'm not one of those people, though. I'll wait for a cheaper solution.

There's no way I'm shelling out $80 for this thing, I will definitely be waiting for a clone.

I'm not going to reward people with no reputation clearly after a money grab that could just up and vanish come update time from Nintendo. They're asking Rolls-Royce pricing for a bare-bones, barely functioning flash cart. It does one thing only and it doesn't even do it that well. It's a step towards progress but their asinine pricing (as if it has tons of features) is just absurd. I'm gonna sit this one out and examine what happens to the people that decide to be the lab rats. I'll learn off of their dollar.
I'll spend money when I can centralize all of my games to one cart again. $80 for absolutely no convenience other than (almost solely) piracy is a joke.

I won't pass up an opportunity to play 3DS roms so you know i'm getting gate way. I will own gate way & future 3DS flash carts .

If you can´t pay many 3ds games it worth, but I think it is too soon to buy a 3ds flashcard, like many said here it will appear ''clones'' of gateway 3ds and I'm going to wait if they DESTROY the region lock...

Meh, I see no point to supporting a device thats entirely about piracy, especially since REAL ROM backups for a normal person like on the DS is currently impossible. Also, I would prefer a CFW (which will probably eventually happen) and have an awesome time Flash cart free. I don't know why so many people are bent on thinking that the 3DS will primarily rely on Flashcarts, it may be the successor to the DS, but it really is a different beast when you're talking about external media opportunities, especially since if the exploits are found, I see the 3DS being a bit similar to the Wii scene, but who knows, since nobody has found a publicly useful exploit lol.

I'm buying it
I'm tired of paying 40$ per game
Since I bought the system I spent over 220$ in 3ds games
But i'm still going to buy the ones I really like afterwards.

I would try this flashcart, for $40 or less.

Nintendo will not block this with an update, the person performing the update is the one that will be blocking it. Hell, my iEvo still works in my DSi and my 3DS, so does my Acekard 2i.

I would pay $100.00 for the Gateway 3ds card if it allowed more than one game on a micro-card!!!!

We're looking at potential 256GB sdxc cards in the sd slot these days...mmmhmmm, that would be nice and convenient.
