hi,
i have on my switch the 8.0.1 fw installed.
want to play the new zelda game that requires the 8.1.0 fw.
i´ve been reading in foruns that some people can no longer "access"/play the nsp games installed when in 8.0.1 so, my question is this:

when i update the switch to 8.1.0 (choidujour), the former 8.0.1fw installed games will no longer work and i´ll have to re-installed them or it will be ok?

thanks in advance everyone.

It should work exactly as a normal system update, meaning your games should be fine.

I don't have a wii u anymore to test it myself, but if homebrews are not visible on the wii u menu I think you can press L + R + minus to open the plugin menu, there should be an option called "homebrews on wii u menu" or something similar
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    nope
  • crafthp434 @ crafthp434:
    it is L+dpad down+ select

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
@Xdqwerty you can use a "spawner" function on any object.

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Or when your player dies, you can say in code, if enemy exists, do nothing, but if enemy does not exist, then create enemy at certain spot. (This would be a pain tho for lots of emeies)

Easiest, simple way would be just restart scene, but player would restart from beginning.
