Hello, I've attempted to downgrade my Internet Browser while on 5.5.2 via FTPiiU Everywhere. I deleted the original files, so the specific metadata is not there, and therefore I cannot recover my Internet Browser. I was wondering if anybody could make a WUP Installer (an installable) version of the Internet Browser that acts as a separate app, so I could possibly use it. It doesn't have to be 5.5.1, although that would be helpful. Thanks.
EDIT: Oh, and I know it would require signature patches, I have CBHC so it doesn't matter.

I can't help you, but why do you try this if you already have an access to homebrew?

There are some applications that require launching from the internet browser, such as @BullyWiiPlaza's BO2 Wii U mod injector.
I'd also like my browser back so I can watch anime on my gamepad without Crunchyroll.

The Internet browser is Nintendo copyrighted material it is against gbatemp.net rules to ask for copyrighted material it is also against gbatemp.net rules to post copyrighted material or to pm copyrighted material you are going to have to ask on other sites for it.

Could I at least get a guide on how to turn it into an app myself? I believe if I do it, it isn't against any rules.

Just like everything else, key is on that title key site, but I'm not sure you can downgrade it.

He said it well. As the rules, I agree.

I'm 99% sure you can't downgrade the titles. You can, however, download the 5.5.2 web browser with NUS installer and install that.

Oh and I have no idea how to install it as a regular title

Yes a system update will install the 5.5.2 browser due to it being missing
Thought so.
That's what I did to fuck up my browser. Instead of replacing the files, I deleted them and added new ones, clearing out the meta info that makes the Internet Browser function.
Perhaps try doing a system update and then try downgrading it again?

So would I delete the actual internet browser files? Like, the apps, code, and so on? I did try to fix it and now it just hangs at the Internet Browser loading screen, so I need some way to trigger the update.

You should be able to just goto the wiiu system settings then look for an option to update system then run the update and it should fix the browser.
