from what i gather 4.0 stops the twilight hack from allowing you to put homebrew channel on yoru wii, but if you have it on there before you upgrade, and upgrade it all still works fine, is this not correct? unfortunately i upgraded one wii to 4.0 already but my other one is still 3.4u, if that does work, then after you get homebrew channel added, do you update with some cracked version thru there or the regular update to 4.0? i only ask this cause i see a lot of people with 4.0 and homebrew on and i know that's the only way it can be done atm.
