Hacking 3in1 freezes on selecting expansion mode

Update on the 3in1 problems. I finally got Rudolph's gba exploader working on my iTouch flashcart. The solution for that was to triple boot as explained here http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=205001 . However, I can't get gba exploader to set the 3in1 to expansion pack mode. I cycle to the option with R, select the mode, and then it freezes. It doesn't do anything past that, no indication message, and the controls lock. I've tried it in all of the firmwares, and it does the same thing. Can someone help?

iTouch doesn't support homebrew, it is a crippled flashcart.

same thing for the iTouch2.


all of Rudolph's stuff has a M3 blacklist, you need a patch to remove that blacklist.
