As in, this program can open those supposedly legit dumped roms?

Not play, mind you, but it can open and read data from them? o__O

Wait, isn't this similar to that ctrtool created by neimod some months ago? IIRC, you could only read information from the header of the encrypted ROM with that program, because it's filesystem is encrypted.

I thought it wasn't possible to see the contents of the ROM filesystem because of that limitation, since no one really knows the key.

Can someone confirm this? I don't have the 3DS ROMs ATM.

Then I don't see a difference. It's just a GUI for ctrtool, which you can't use to see the actual filesystem from the ROM (with this I mean you can extract files from the ROM and such... But I see this is not the case).

You almost got me there. This is only useful for header analysis, nothing else.

At least it's something. Not a bad thing to have when it (someday) becomes possible to dump the carts yourself

is based of the ctrtool created by neimod
You should post that screen in the first post.
Users will see it's only a header/CCI/CXI information reader, and not a game's internal file system explorer.

Thanks for that tool
