How can I make sure that the ntrboot hax is properly injected into my flashcart?

I'm using a R4 Infinity dual core one and whenever I turn on the 2ds with the key combination, I'm not able to get boot9strap installer, I'm alway getting the game menu on hold

Any tip?

Hold Select Start and X before pressing power. Press power only briefly so the blue light comes on. Keep holding the buttons for a few seconds, then release.

It should be properly flashed if the icon doesn't appear in the cartridge icon when inserted (and it did before flashing).

Is it safe to Clock+L2 your n3ds? Will it affect anything on the 3DS and is there any point I should turn it off?
Some games won't work with it on.

Will the game crash and go back to the home screen saying the console has to restart and then I'll just have to turn Clock-L2 off?

Hello, I'm trying to install a theme on my 3DS using Anemone. However, after the theme installs, nothing appears on my 3DS home screen. Has anyone else had this problem before?

Sorry, but I can't reply to your comment because I get a message saying my long explanation is spam or inappropriate?
Edit: Short answer, yes I tried another theme but I got the same result. I'm on firmware 11.6 with a hacked old 3DS.

You need to hack the new one. If you want to move your data you'll have to do a system transfer. If the new 3ds is on 11.4 or newer you can use dsiwarehax to install cfw.

You need to restart your 3ds to refresh the home screen

What are important files to back up? I have SD, NAND, OTP, saves, but is there anything else that is important/useful/convenient to restoring a console if it breaks/is replaced?
Also, merry holidays. :D

You want to backup game saves with JKSM save manager or checkpoint. Those encrypted saves are useless if not decrypted for using on another console if it happens to break on you.

essential.exefs should be backed up; it has OTP, NAND CID, LocalFriendCodeSeed_B, movable.sed, NAND header, SecureInfo_A, and HWCAL files.

I have both JKSM and Checkpint save backups already, but thanks anyways. c:

Hey everyone, so my brother and I both own a 3ds. They both have CFW installed with ntrboothax, i followed 3ds.guide to do that. I have a US N3ds and he has a EU O3ds. Download play is region locked for 3ds games so we cant play together. I tried using ctrtransfer to change the EU O3ds`s region to US but it didn`t work, it said it failed to load the ctrnand and wouldnt boot so i was forced to use the NAND backup i made before. Is there any other solution to play with my brother ?

You could install the same region version of the game from freeshop on both

not to be perverse but why download play instead of using local multiplayer?
