Downgrading is not needed anymore. You just install B9S straight on your firmware

That's because you no longer need to downgrade.

With B9S it's not needed to downgrade anymore

I think i should read before posting here, it's great that downgrade method is gone. Reading quickly the tutorial it seems to be easier than a9hl.

There's a problem, I managed to move emunand to sysnans but when i go to settings the update is 11.2 and not latest which is 11.4. Why?

I realized now that moved emunand meand replacement and with rxtools it had 11.2 before. I guess i have to update again and do i have to re-install from dsp1 and then the rest of the guide?

In the finalizing setup part it had a note telling you to move emunand now. Most of the stuff after that needs to be re-done

Ok thanks for the help, this is the easiest install ever. The a9hl required you to downgrade and all that shit, with this one it took me less time.

Ok so i made a nand backup when i updated from a9lh to b9s. Now i want to uodate b9s to 1.2 and luma to 8.0... Do i need to make another backup?

You need to use Rosalina - *hax will not work anymore.

Not compatible with Luma 8.0.

• *hax payloads don't work anymore. You'll have to use version of the Homebrew Menu >= 2.0, which can be found here (and in the homebrew starter pack later on)

Hi @ all,

i updated successfully to B9S 1.2, but didn´t use CTRNand option. So obviously my N3DS will not boot without an sd card, or without the boot.firm file on the root of the sd. So in case of an sd card failure, i want to make a full backup of my sd card. But as there are many cia´s installed it is way too big.
So which folder do i not need to copy to my pc harddisk ? I mean which folder contains all installed games ?
Would that be ok as a backup to not have the folder with the installed games included ?
The 3DS should still boot right ? What can happen if the games folder is missing ? Should only have the effect of not showing the games in the home menu right ?
