If you followed Part 1 you should have this folder (it is for homebrew). Nintendo 3DS is where the console keeps installed games etc, completely different.

I see. I just needed clearing up where I should start with the a9lh guide and what parts of the guide I would not need to do, as I already have emunand via GW but nothing else CFW/homebrew related. Ricken is helping me out with that though.

NOTE: My kids love to play their 3DS, I have 0% interest. Anything done I need it to be idiot proof as possible.
GOAL: My kids being able to play their games without carts (seriously )

1) What would be my best option? I did read https://gbatemp.net/threads/the-definitive-guide-to-3ds-hacking.417225/ Not sure if that is what is what I need to do.
2) After CFW, in what order and what tutorials would best suit my needs to accomplish my goals?

I am not being lazy.. I looked at the tutorials, but their has just been so many changes that the lingo (even with the lingo guide) overwhelms the mind. Most of the tutorials refer to the OFW 10.x.
I rather not use a flash cart since my kids are great at 'misplacing' their carts.

I have a N3DS XL with Arm9loaderhax
Does DSTTi works without any problem with R4 Stage2 TWL Flashcart Launcher or you recommend another card?

(I ask because I would use for the DSi 1.4.1 and the phat DS)

1) I copied the SD card to the PC. Should I backup anything else that I don't know about?
2) For the Starter.zip, DoI use a fresh SD or the 3DS SD? Any prep to the 3ds card before use if I need to use it?

2. The 3ds SD. If it's 64GB or higher you have to first format it as FAT32 but otherwise no prep needed.

You could also buy another console on lower firmware, set up CFW, system transfer from your current to the new one, and sell the current one.

No, follow the guide as written. In part 2 it will say, "if already on 9.0-9.2, skip to step 22" or similar.

Try holding Select on boot to get the config menu and making sure updated sysNAND is ticked (assuming that's what you're using)

Depends on the person, not everone is into piracy.

I must be an absolute tool to 3ds I copied the starter zip files to the root of the 3DS SD. I tried to boot with d-pad down then change theme (red to blue) then change theme back. I went to the URL and I keep getting communication error. WiFi is working. I know many have done this, I assume I am not doing something I need to do. Again, kids love the 3DS not me, lol

What other things are you asking for here? Depend on the person and what they find useful, then what you looking to use?
