If you've been following the guides right, you've most likely been downloading the Nightlies build for rxTools. They don't tell you which version you have so you MUST know what you downloaded.

Sounds like your NANDs are linked. That's the gift wrap bug that linked users suffer from, only solution is to unlink.

Alas, I do not know what I downloaded, there's a package ready to download containing emuNAND and rxTools with no version in its filename... although I got firmware.bin from a friend, because I was on Linux at the time and maybe that batch file that downloads/generaters firmware.bin spits up the version number. Anyway, thanks for your answer.

And my NANDs are definitely unlinked, when I create a folder in emuNAND it does not appear in sysNAND.

Second issue I have is that several games keep disappearing from my folders on emuNAND and reappear upon reboot as new presents (save data is preserved). It's always the same games - Devil Survivor Overclocked Undub, Conception II undub, Legend of Legacy, Mario Tennis Open and Yoshi's New Island. Is there something I should do to make them not do that?

is it only those games that this occurs with or is it all cia games . . . ?

yup those are poorly converted/dumped cia games . . . i have two myself a copy of cubic ninja (E) and fantasy life (u) . . . so i found new links/websites/scores to download the games in question and no more re-warped games
i guess i could have simply downloaded a different region version of the games from the same site . . . but i like broader horizons

naw you should be good problems usually (and rarely) occur when attempting to alter the rom (cryptofixing, undubing, ect) if you rip your own rom and dont alter it before you convert it to a cia . . . then it will be fine

lol . . . yes sir in the case of the undub . . . the rom usually was not repacked properly after the change was made to the rom so, the fault is not yours and short of doing it yourself (or scouring the internet until you find another undubbed copy) that would be the way . . . i guess

I'm sorry to break this to you; you must have done something wrong. It's not our fault that you bricked your 3ds, it's entirely your own. Hacking the New 3DS is NOT a 'suicide mission' or something like that. I did it only two weeks ago and I am playing away with my 10 cia's installed. Sjucks for you that you bricked it. It's a thing happening right now but a lot of people have successfully downgraded. You should have read the disclaimer on almost every guide; there is a chance of bricking. If that wasn't a risk you were willing to take, you should have read more carefully. The only option you have now is using Sky3DS+.

well i did the downgrade by watching a youtube video by someone channel called yakara something .and i did it exacly as it was told in the video. anyway im not accusing anybody. i just post it so if someone is not exacly sure about doing it well don't dont do it. thanks for replying and by the way is working well is just that i cant hack it ( lol. can i ask you a question? does sky 3ds work with a new 3ds 10.05 3ds games? or ds only? another thing. i have a old new 3ds and its 10.03 usa and i bought alot of eshop games is there a way to hack 3ds emunand and make a sistem transfer to my new 3ds? i spent like 150+ dollars on dlc and games and i dont want to lose it all. another question xd i already installed some legit cias on my old 3ds if i update it to 10.05 instead of downgrade it. could i transfer the legit cias to a new 3ds or does the legit cias erase themselves by making a sistem transfer.

You need the blue card for DS exploit? I think you can make that stick.

There isn't really that much alternatives since you're on 4.5

yup . . . screw mest . . . use rxtools to safely update sysnand to 9.2 or 9.0 and use menuhax to autoboot either rxtools or gateway

to install rxtools update sysnand setup manuhax and then you can get/use the gateway.3dsx file via menuhax to boot your gateway

quick question, a friend of mine is planning to buy an n3ds which worst case will come with fw 10.4
so what's stopping him to use browserhax and launch gateway from the homebrew launcher? is it because browserhax has no kernel access so he has no other choice than to downgrade to 9.2 (he is hesitant to downgrade because he can't risk bricking)

You can't downgrade from 10.4, only 10.3 and below. You need a hardmod to downgrade from 10.4
