I'm sorry for asking that for the 100th times but i don't wanna get bricked.
If I installed via the blue card the 2.0b2, never opened gateway (it crushed twice and I removed the SD), and I replace the launcher to 1.2 launcher, without reinstalling, will it be okay?

You don't install 2.0B2 from the blue card, you only install the exploit itself (The change that allows your 3DS to launch the "Launcher.dat" on your SD card). Replacing your "Launcher.dat" on your SD card with the 1.2 version will stop the risk of your 3DS bricking.

So Im thinking about getting gateway I can get a 3ds with 4.5 but here is a question will i be able to play my RETAIL CARTS that require 6.3? Or do i have to a get a rom for them?

Yes, as long as you use 2.0b1 and update your emuNAND, you can play any retail cartridge, and play them online too.

Okay thanks. I just replaced the launcher.dat file on the SD and tried to access gateway but it crushed..
The white cartridge wasn't inserted if that matters.

I can't guarantee anything in regards to 2.0 and multi-ROM, but I assume it will come by March (at least, I'm really hoping). An SD card comes with the 3DS, and that's just used for saves/pictures/videos/apps you download through the eShop. The microSD that you use for the Gateway blue or red cart to store ROMs can be any size AFAIK, and I'm using two microSDHC cards right now (one 16GB, the other 32GB).

So here it goes. I have recently come back to GBAtemp and a lot has changed on the 3DS scene. Multiple flash cards have come out with the ability to play 3DS roms and I am interested in purchasing one. I still want to continue using my DSTWO for standard games, homebrew and gba emulation. From what I can see this is still possible with the appropriate updates to my card.

I have firmware version 6.3.0-12E after a friend I lent my 3DS to updated it stupidly a while back. From what understand it needs to be 4.1-4.5 to run Gateway 3DS or any other flash card, so is there a way to downgrade it, or a possible workaround?

The only thing you can do is buying a new 3DS (or you can downgrade it if you made a NAND dump previously what I don't believe).

I'm having trouble with a retail Pokemon X cartridge with Classic Mode on R4i version 3.0. I updated the emunand to the most current, and after deleting the save data on the Pokemon cartridge, the game crashes (Error, turn off power and restart) at the introduction just after the pokemon flies into the character's room and sees them sleeping.

Is there anything I can do to correct this and not use a version that may brick the system?

Yes

That means you're in Gateway mode, just insert the red card and start playing games.

That's... Odd. Sounds like a cartridge issue more than an Emunand issue. Try the ol' blowing on the cartridge trick and give it another try. It should work.
