I'm surprised Nintendo has outsmarted the world's community of hackers. They should just quit making games and consoles and just work on government security. They'd make crazy money.

That or hardly anyone is even trying to hack the 3DS since handhelds are a dying breed and mobile gaming is taking over.

The translation is incorrect, it's just a device to backup and restore saves, not edit them, and those devices don't work on new games or on 3DS units with recent firmware versions.

i wouldn't blame the translation, because it does in fact say it is an editor, both in english on the product picture and in japanese, where it says セーブエディター. i would blame a fly by night company putting out intentionally misleading information.

it says, you can get max money, status other great stuff with this tool, out for 3ds, compatiable with 3ds and 3dsll, save editor for 3ds. this company released these save editors for all the systems, not sure if it's the same company as code whatever it was called here in the states but they seem to share the same products it even talks about New Super Mario Bros 2 with 999 Life, Kid Icarus Uprising with max heart and so on

Please please please no. Without Nintendo the amount of gaming innovation, in terms of controllers and consoles, would be severely limited. Sony and Microsoft sure aren't bringing new ideas to the table. They just want their new consoles to have more and more powerful hardware.

you can give yourself Max Gold in Monster Honter 3G, Max Lives in Mario Bros 2
they state they have the "Patch codes" for popular games and that there will be updates adding more or you can add your own

thre is a Simple mode where you only edit the information with tick boxes and there is a advanced mode allowing for full save editing
