Mouse not working inside Fallout 3 :(
Yep, same with Life is Strange. I haven't tried many first person games so can't remember any more that didn't work, but Minecraft did. I guess it's something about how they read the mouse.
My workaround for LiS was to set it all up as an xbox controller.

I'm trying to play MKX with 3ds controller and I have every key lined up in the ini to play the game. It works in google chrome and notepad and shows the same buttons pressed as in the games controller menu. 3ds controller won't work, but my laptop's keyboard will. So will another keyboard plugged into the usb port. Can anybody help?

The face buttons act as keys that are set in the ini file on your computer. This works with pc games and emulates keyboard keys. You can get it to act as a 360 controller with a long, complicated process.

I think you're looking at the wrong ini. The pc one is supposed to have a lot of text at the top explaining some things, then a port, throttle, circle pad, c stick, touch, and mouse speed. Then goes on the explain buttons. It has something like A: J where you change J into whatever you want. It would work best if you edited the ini for the games pc controls rather than xbox controls.

thanks i got mostly everything working...... But i hate to ask, but i'm curious. How do i get it to work for xbox? My biggest problem is pc controls does not let me control the axes, or even circle pad support.

I think I asked Poke this earlier in the thread. I tried using x360ce and VJoy but it doesn't work for me. I don't know how to set up vJoy and the menu for x360ce is complex.

It's a little complicated, but in short: Install vJoy from the link in the readme. Set Circlepad: Joystick 1 and C Stick (or touch): Joystick 2.
If your game will take a combo of keyboard keys and joysticks then stop right there. If not, set all the buttons to JOY1 up to JOY16 (if you need higher than JOY8 you need to change a vjoy setting).
If your game will take a normal joystick instead of xbox controller, stop there. If you reeaally need it to act as an xbox controller, you can use a program called x360ce to "translate" it. I've heard you can also use something called xpadder, but I'm not sure on the specifics with that.

Does not work in binding of Isaac Afterbirth either gave up on it and started using FusaGamePad
Does... does BOI:A even use a mouse? I know the original flash game did, but as far as I know that's completely cut out of Rebirth and up.
I've found the other controls work fine, either as keyboard keys or joystick buttons (after rebinding). x360ce didn't work on it, but maybe it was confused since it actually does listen to regular joysticks.

Does the 3DS Controller rely at all on the sensor at the back of the 3DS?
I've been playing smash and sonic lost world with it, and it randomly will go unresponsive, still moving the character in the last direction controlled.
I traced this back to the time a few days ago I accidentally dropped my 3ds. It feel about 8 inches off from my bed and onto my wooden floor. Did this cause any damage?
