Hacking 2x DS Originals Not Powering On

Right my friend was just playing on his DS using his original R4 card, he shut off the DS to change game and upon powering on the console nothing happened. When put on charge the power light lights for 2 secs and then disappears, I then took out the battery from my spare (working)ds and swapped them. The battery from the ds (not working) was working in the spare ds. I returned the batterys to the original ds's the spare powered on fine and the broken ds still was not working the spare ds was switched off and the r4 cards was swapped to see if that was the problem with that neither ds are working now can any help

i would guess the r4 has shorted on something and has blown a fuse but i could be wrong. my broken ds the orange light comes on for a second when i plug the charger in then goes off.

Sounds the the fuse has burnt out. You'll need to solder (short it out) over it.

so just replace the fuse on both ds's everything will be fine

best to buy new fuses, cos if it happens again they might die

I've been looking for a new set of fuses for a while, but I couldn't find any. Where did you get yours?
