Hi guys, i’ve recenlty get this, and when I press start to open the menu it doesn’t work, anyone had the same problem? What can I do?

These are generally cheap built and the SD card used is most likely a cheap knockoff of the brand it's pretending to be, so most likely the latter died, try reading the SD card on your computer (Disable autorun in windows before you proceed)

You would need a new sd card, yes, get wood kernel and place them on the sd. as for the games you can copy them from the old sd card if you want, but it's better to just redownload them from the internet imo.

That should do it, but then again, it could be that the flashcart itself that's buggy, but as @CoolMe said, you would need to dll them again since they might be corrupted roms, also use wood fw, it's nice

These types of cartridges often have faulty contacts, both the external ones in contact with the DS and the internal ones in contact with the micro SD: the latter often does not stay firmly inside the slot and tends to slide out, albeit slightly. Clean the contacts well and try several times, pushing firmly but not forcing too hard. As for me, I have been very lucky: my "508 in 1 card" is now three years old and has always worked perfectly.

I have a 4300 in 1 card that's been pretty solid so far. I replaced the internal card, which was completely unbranded, with a Sandisk 128GB card. I've managed to add DSx86, FrodoDS(which is harder than you think to find one that actually works with the launcher menu), PokeyDS, StellaDS and a few other emulators to it. If you want an emulation Ace3DS card, the 4300 in 1 version is pretty good to start with since it comes with a bunch of GameBoy, GameBoy Color, GameBoy Advance, NES, SNES, and Genesis roms on there with emulators already set up.

I still haven't figured out everything with the card, like the format of the BMP images that I'm guessing are inside the DSMENU.DAT in order to add my own icons for the menu. I'm guessing they're 64x64, and I know 24bit BMPs don't work with it. I have a 256 color BMP version of the icon I want to put on there, but that's on the ToDo list.

insert your micro sd to your computer and go to _rpg and then globalsettings and the rest should be obvious
