Is it just me or does this game feels... less Zelda-ish.

I mean the story... it really doesn't do anything to do with the triforce.... or at least after 2 dungeons, no words of triforce.

I mean, TRIFORCE.... signature of the hero in Zelda games.

Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Season, Majora's Mask, and Link's Awakening also have little or nothing to do with the triforce either.
But it feels a lot like a gb zelda game to me.

I've only played about 20 minutes, but so far it's been a bit of a let down for me. I was hoping for something in the level of quality as Link to the Past. I know I shouldn't have expected so much, but I had a little hope.

Where did any of you read that the US version will have extra content? If it does, my guess would be some features that take advantage of the DS screen, since Minish Cap is coming out after the release of the DS. Perhaps the top portion being the subscreen /w map.

More likely the extra content is a carrot to discourage US customers from importing, seeing as they are delaying it simply so it won't clash with the DS launch.

I would be very surprised if the extra content amounted to anything substantial.

I would also suspect, though someone who knows more than me would need to confirm or deny it, that a GBA game would run in a different mode and would have great difficulty using both screens. I could be completely wrong about that though...

Yeah, it'll probably be one tiny extra dungeon, like in the GBC version of Links Awakening or something.

But if you'll recall, the GBC Zelda games included some bonus features when you played it on a GBA. It's entirely possible for them to add a real-time map feature for DS users.

Yes, but the GBC Zelda only had to detect that it was actually in a GBA. It didn't actually access any of the features or abilities of the GBA. It would be very different to send map data to a second screen. I don't know that it's not possible, I'm just saying it's a very different situation.
