try clearing the payload at the game's main menu (hold L+R+X+Y), re-scan the proper qr code.

the last part (-4) doesn't matter at all. it's never used once in the code, I know this because I read it. only "old 10.1.0 E" does.

I have only had my modded 3DS for about a month so i am still a relative noob with all this stuff.

I boot the CFW off an SD card by pressing the power button and holding another button to boot into the HBL, i then click on Luma to load my CFW . Am i ok to update once i am loaded into Luma (i asume this is EMUNand so is safe) ?

If you're using MenuHax then yes, if you're using A9LH it would normally be SysNAND
