You see, I was discussing ctr-httpwin a few days ago here and some dude rejected it stating that it won't work on system transfers.

How about the target unity? The source unity you may use ctr-httpwn since you already have HBL. But the target unity should have ctr-httpwn to receive the system transfer and you can't do that if your unity is on 11.0 or 11.1, right?
Target Unit can also use ctr-httpwin via the browserhax.

Anyway, IMO I think it's much simpler to just update the 3ds to v11.1 then do the DSiWare downgrade rather than using ctr-httpwin, especially to those new in the scene.

DSIware downgrade requires buying Fieldrunners, though.

crt-httpwin is free, right?

Anime Channel is for EU regions only. It's been out for awhile.

Well thats very weird then. I got AA6 yesterday but it diddnt work so i fixed it by importing seed via the Fbi installer

And now it works but then suddenly the anime channel icon was there.

Is that normal?

SpotPass might have downloaded it to your system if you have SpotPass downloads turned on.

Ok.

So, here's what you developers need to realize. And I'm not trying to make this sound rude or snark at all:

NINTENDO ISN'T GONNA MAKE 12.0 IMMEDIATELY.

I know that's what you guys are all hoping for, but as they keep patching the system, the firmware is gonna go up by one unit every time, until they decide they wanna release a 12.0.

Considering the past few updates, I have a feeling 12.0 is gonna release close to the end of 2017.

So, what does this mean? You guys actually have to start getting on top of your game, because from a former developer's point of view, I like to get things done, & not slack. But, from a regular person's point of view, we can't wait anymore. A promise was made, & we feel like that promise was broken.

I get it. There's randomizations added to the code that makes things hard. Someone out there happened to get past it, & now, it's taking them 50 billion years to do something really simple.

Technically, I'd be getting a "Oh, well go do it yourself, then." response by now. What you're really saying is, "Oh. Go break another promise that people want, & make people hate you."

I've already broken one promise on here, & I'm not about to break another one. And, the people telling us to have patience; you're killing us. A logical person would think that telling someone to be patient will cause impatience over a short span of time, because patience only lasts a short span, & we're not gonna tolerate that.

Once again, I'm not trying to be snark or rude, but this is an issue that needed to be brought to attention, & I wasn't gonna stand idly by & not do anything about it.

I hope you guys can understand.

I would have to agree to disagree. I mean yeah, I get most of your points on being helpful to the community etc etc. You have to remember though most of the Devs that works around here do it for free (or a few PayPal donations). I sort of agree with the "if you want something done, do it yourself" either that or give someone an incentive to help. What incentive to DEVs have to help a bunch of impatient greedy people? They do have their own lives, jobs etc. Some of you act as if 3DS development during free time is a paid service you're getting for free. Patience and gratitude are a MUST if you want these people to continue doing their work for nothing. Where would we be if Smea just "fuck it, I'm not getting paid for this. Not only that but I feel like the majority of the DEVs around here are pretty nice people and willing to help when you ask not demand it. Some of you around here have this huge entitled attitude like, if you know they can do it they SHOULD just because. On the flip side, if they really cared about not being chastised for an unreleased exploit or whatever they wouldn't post cryptic videos etc MONTHS before they plan to release, (if at all) and spark their own inferno.

Bottom line is DEVs are not the salves of GBATemp or the 3DS scene. They can at any time take their skill set and put it to use elsewhere be thankful you have SO much free support. Users are not to be ignored either, without people using your application it was a wasted effort anyway. The relationship between users and DEVs needs to remain mutual. DEVs need to stop telling people "I'll get to it when I get to it", after implying/stating a release and users need to quit demanding for stuff on their terms. Period.

Maybe because you must be on the latest firmware to do a system transfer, and a system transfer is a vital part of the DSiWare downgrade.
When 11.1 release i was waiting 7 days transfer limitation. The same day it's was gonna end new update release. And that time no files or HBL entry point was working. And noone told me about
ctr-httpwn.

But reading before update 11.1 and wait entry point i tried ctr-httpwn.

Worked verywell. I did a transfer from 11.1 a9lh to a 11.0 ofw spoof.

ctr-httpwn its simple tools and never heard about it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

See I asked if ctr-httpwn would work with system transfer in the 3ds noob paradise, but I only got one answer and it was no. And that's why I try to avoid that thread unless I'm answering questions, because I always seem to just get ignored.
I didn't any question becouse always find people asking with no clear aswer.

What i did was try. Just that and worked. But keep mind there is some risk. At the end of sys transfer. It can reboot and lose the spoof and you will finish with a a transfer but with no fieldrunner.

If update to 11.1 works to downgrade its better to do.

I actually had system transfer fail when it rebooted for some reason (maybe my internet was acting up, as it gave me problems starting it in the first place) back before the 11.1 update when the New Galaxy Style n3ds came out. Luckily if choose the manual PC transfer method (don't know about other methods) AND if you made a backup before system transferring, both consoles will be using the same folders within the Nintendo 3ds folder, allowing you to reinstall Fieldrunners on the target system, then on the source system transfer Fieldrunners to SD, and from there place that onto the target 3ds and transfer it back from SD to NAND.
But it's not a very fun method and definitely caused me panic, especially when I initially restored the wrong but very similar NAND backup on the source system.

Well. This whats happens today.
I spoof a 11.0
It was a 2DS A9lh to a new3ds 11 0fw
During transfer when i choose complete transfer with wifi. ( i alredy did it 7 days ago and everything was fine ). Its says there is no free space. Even i had 4Gb SD source and 16Gb microsd target with total free space. I tried again and again and keep saying no enough memory. So i choose pc transfer. And everything goes well. But at the end of the transfer. The very end when dsi will be moved. It says i need to update to last FW and reeboted console. The sys transfer was complete becouse fieldrunners was there to be downloaded. But the source nintendo3ds folder and the target are not the same.

Sorry for bad english. Well i think becouse i choose pc transfer the spoof (ctr-httpwn) was lost in process.

Edit. I made a backup before transfer. And even i restore it with fieldrunners. The folders are not the same.

If you have a NAND dump of the source system before the system transfer and then restore that, from my experience both source and target systems should be able to read the same data from the same SD

Also just wanted to know - is it recommented to update? I mean is there anything beneficial, for now? (I do not stream games, cause ive read that this is broken atm)
