That's only necessary if you are exceding the base limit of 10 mods. You don't need it if that's not the case, same for the Plugins file.


Didn't take a look at the mods you were loading, that shouldn't stop Atmos for reading the mods. But if it worked, then great!
On a side note what is this plugin bypass thing I keep reading about? Also where can I find more mods? the Nexus does not seem to have many of the more popular mods from the standard version. Do I have to find a compatible list and then convert the ones I want myself or...

You can make atmos load an exefs patch to bypass the 10 EPS/ESM limit and use more mods. Of course, without that, you can still keep using as many mods as you want if those doesn't come with a EPS/ESM.

Also where can I find more mods? the Nexus does not seem to have many of the more popular mods from the standard version. Do I have to find a compatible list and then convert the ones I want myself or...
Personally, I only uploaded the mods I converted for myself, wasn't already on the Switch Skyrim community, and if the original author granted me permission to share them. I can't upload any mod that doesn't meet those three requirements.
If you want to get into modding yourself, you can download the Skyrim NX Toolkit from Nexus, read all the documentation and start making experiments with mods from the PC community.
