Would it be possible to reverse-engineer console ID?

So as we all know, after FW 8, mkey.salthax.org won't work as it needs the console ID (obtained from homebrew) to calculate the master key, along with the inquiry number.

However, provided that the user knows the corresponding mkey from an inquiry number, would it be possible to reverse-calculate the console ID?

Using math, you can always calculate the third variable provided that you know the formula and the other 2 variables. Usually, the salthax website knows the formula, and you input the console ID and the inquiry number and the website calculates the third variable (mkey).

Would that work in reverse to calculate the ID or does it involve some sort of one-way encryption?
