So I purchased a broken switch from eBay that has parental controls enabled. I pulled my device id by dumping my prodinfo and then using goldleaf (because I kept getting the same error). Now I'm stumped... Sure I can contact Nintendo, but what's the fun in that?

I'm receiving the following error when running the mkey generator:

Your master key could not be calculated.
If your inquiry number is correct, this server is missing the required data to process it.

My keys are 14digit...
PRODINFO via HEX
NXxxxxxxxxxxxxxx-0

GOLDLEAF
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Firmware
8.0.0

I tried with NX and again with -0 and both times it generated a master key that was invalid. Tried the console date and that obviously didn't work.

Am I missing a step?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

Thanks, but that's exactly what I've been using.

I have tried multiple inquiry numbers with the same result. I have
extracted my hardware id using two methods, but it isn't working for whatever reason. It's almost as if it's too short... How many digits is it supposed to be?

16... hmm... welp looks like I need more sleep. My brain skipped over two of the digits like 100x for some reason. Worked like a charm!

Thanks for all of the help guys.
