All ps3 can do ps1 and ps2 games since cfw etc. Some native some emu.

Maximum drive size is 1.5tb and you can do a 2tb to 1.75tb trick like on psx-place. USB 2tb and maybe bigger with prep ntfs I dunno havent tried.

Do you know how many PS1 and PS2 emulators are there in the latest PS3 FW? Sorry, it's so confusing. What about the PS3?

Also, can PS3 emulators be chosen, how many PS2 emulators are there and isn't there a PSP emulator?

Do you know how many PS1 and PS2 emulators are there in the latest FW installed in a PS3 Fat/Slim/Super Slim? Sorry, this is very confusing. What about the PS3 with HAN/HFW/HEN installed?

Also, can one choose the PS3 emulators he/she wants to use, how many emulators are there for the PS2 and isn't there a PSP emulator?
CFW able ps3 you can play bin cue ps1 and ps2 iso without any extra steps and depending on your model it will be native or the emu kicks in, you dont do anything.

Hen is whats used nowadays as hen is obsolete and with hen you need an extra step on ps2 isos and use rebug ps2 launcher. PSP isos are launched with psp launcher as well.

Native vs emu is based on model

Early models that had ps2 inside are native then sony removed it on later models, those are emu.

You mean, HAN is obsolete? So, there's no PSP emulator?

I thought PS1 and PS2 Classics only came in the PKG format, not in the ISO and CUE/BIN ones too.

this is from rebug 4.86.1 lite that I decrypted on my pc. I only leave it there to check file locations, otherwise it's useless.

psp classic and psp remasters are both running the same emulator (pspemu) unlike for ps1 and ps2 there arent any secondary ones

Why is a Launcher needed to run PSP games unlike PS1's and PS2's?

EDIT: I bought an used PS3 since the previous stopped reading BRs, installed webMAN MOD's latest version and it hasn't been freezing my PS3 so maybe it was the previous PS3's HDD's fault. Anyway, I got used to IRISMAN, so I uninstalled webMAN MOD.

@SylverReZ, atleast wiimmfii went fine although people only use it for Mario kart Wii
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
At least if they ban you for cheating, get another Wii. They're cheap as chips.

    not really

It got shutdown because somebody "accidentally" leaked the database for the amount of people using the beta.

RiiShop is the laziest way of downloading Wii games. Did somebody not think of this through?
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, I think you're talking about the recovery mode that the SaveMii used, and also was to restore softbricked systems.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    Brb
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@BakerMan, Oh yeah, that was a thing too. Dolphin does support Wiimmfi.
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
yeah you just need to put your NAND backup with wiimmfi on it
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
ngl i feel like if a bunch of my friends have wiis and know how to get wiimmfi and back up their NAND, then we could do a PMEX Remix tournament
  • BakerMan @ BakerMan:
maybe even add UMVC3/DBFZ and make it a biathlon/triathlon
