Burnout 2 was excellent although it felt very repetitive so you'd really have to be a fan of it.

As for Burnout, I never played it. The series started picking up the "heat" with Burnout 2 and especially 3.

You do also have the problem of better on PC and any PC that runs today will probably 4 copies at once without breaking a sweat.

So not so much for the RPG side of things (pity as there are a few, Jade Empire is getting expensive if my trip to the shop the other day is anything to go by as well. Sudeki if you are going to have a look for stuff, Arx Fatalis has a (homebrew) port on everything now - saw a Switch version a few months back so probably better to go for those).

In that case I would look at Gun Valkyrie. Can be something of an acquired taste and a bit of an initial difficulty curve but once it clicks...
If you like that then Panzer Dragoon Orta as well, indeed I might go the other way with that one.

Ninja Gaiden Black if you have not got a copy. There was a sort of remake on PS3 and 2 on the 360 is good stuff too, less keen on the later games.

Might as well do the Prince of Persia games as well, at very least the first.

Oddworld Munch's Odyssey I don't like nearly as much as the PS1 efforts but it fits with the rest of your selection.

Cold Fear. A lesser known Resident Evil clone, and suffered a bit as people were gawping over RE4 at the time) but a serious cult classic.

Second Sight and Psi Ops if Doom 3, Half Life and Deus Ex 2 (far inferior to the first/prime example of dumbed down for consoles but hey) are things you liked.

Don't know what I have for other driving games if you like those that I would go back to today beyond what you have.

I bought Mashed on Steam and it won't work unless the user changes files around. The prob with old games on Steam and such, the devs don't care nor support it.

Since then, I've played that to my heart's content on console and it's still a great game. Though the camera can be a bit annoying and frustrating.

I don't know how much I would suggest the Tony Hawk games today, and I usually stop off at 4 at most anyway (though the classic edition of one of the later ones was almost there). If you did want to experience it without the recent remake , or figuring out how to set up THUG Pro on the PC then that would probably be the best version. That said the EA Skate series just blew it out of the water for me.

SSX on the other hand has yet to be beaten. I did not mind the one that was free on PS4 a while back, and the one on the 360 was OK, but neither were nowhere near as fun as the various SSX efforts on the original xbox. I have never quite figured out what the 360 sequel added/removed/failed to understand to lose the joy of the original, might have to do that actually.

Also in a shameful move then despite saying I could not think of any driving games I forgot my favourite driving game probably to this day, and thing I measure all else by. That being MX vs ATV. I have never found anything quite as relaxing as free roam on that, especially split screen co-op where you can make your own fun over a massive level.

Sniper Elite is also something to consider in this. It has aged somewhat and I would probably go for the various sequels (and remakes) on never devices but co-op is still good fun.

I'm sure Burnout Revenge (originally meant to be titled: Burnout 4 - Rush Hour, I read) has been mentioned here and if you want that game (it's friggin' awesome) then buy the Xbox version, not the Xbox 360 version.

The 360 version looks really weird. I've been playing Revenge on PS4 and the game looks superb, the enemies are really hard at times and they will wreck you.
