Metal Gear Solid 2 and/or the HD Collection if you have a 360. However, playing MGS on Xbox feels weird because it's missing MGS 1, MGS 4, and the MSX games so you don't have the complete experience.

The only console to have the complete MGS experience is PlayStation 3 (Legacy + Phantom Pain Day One).

i have an xbox 360 but the disc drive doesnt work anymore and im planning to just mod it in the future

Nope. red dead redemption is it's own separate series but the red dead franchise as a whole started off with revolver.

The majority have skipped or never heard of Red Dead Revolver which is a pity as it's an incredible Western game before Redemption was released.

Kind of embarrassed to admit I'm still stuck at the stage where both sides go to war and I always get killed. lol

A Vita/PSTV with CFW would help expand the experience as it has some Metal Gear Solid games never released outside of the PSP.

The Vita is pretty easy to hack in 5 or 10 mins.
