No??? Did you even try? Mario kart work really well on N3ds/,2ds system , and probably not well on O3ds/2ds system.

Long answer: Crash on boot for me, tried more times than I can count. Might differ from console to console, but other than that, don't expect games to "work well" on this. The quirks that needed to be made for DaedalusX64 to run on the 3DS simply imply that the performance will most likely never match that of original hardware nor other emulators with more hardware resources at their disposal. As such, getting things to work to begin with is an incredible accomplishment on its own, but asking more than that feels kinda foolish. What I try to mean by this is that the goal here is not to see if a game "works well", it's to see if it works at all (and if it happens to work with little to no flaws, that's a plus). There's still tons of games to be tested, but hey, good for you that it works on your console. Do be more detailed if you wish to, but all in all, my answer to the question is "no".

tl;dr Doesn't work on my n3ds, might work on yours but don't have high expectatives.

Bro, mario kart runs at decent FPS (almost playable) on my O3DS. I'm sure it's perfectly playable on N3DS.
You must be using some ancient build or have your expectations of performance way too high.

Ngl, I have been proven wrong partially after giving a deep test to the emu and games this weekend. Updated everything and such, and I will rectify accordingly: MK64 boots and runs pretty decently on my New3DS (still has a plethora of issues, but fwiw it is more than playable indeed). Must have had an old build or something, I recall MK64 not booting from the last time I tested this (several months ago). That said, I still think it's not good to have too high expectatives, as N64 emulation is really tough regardless, and hardware in this situation is limited. While we got too carried away with MK64 in particular, I jumped in mainly because I tend to find the average "can this emu run *X title*" or "does *X title* work well" questions kinda out of place. My apologies to anyone who got annoyed by my response, but tbf there are better options than asking directly without reading.

Just tried it, and it runs well on most games. Audio is a bit choppy, and when changing scenes the fps go down to like 5, but it's not that bad. It would be cool if it had a file searcher built-in, mostly just for convenience. Also, it kind of lacks some options, like a reset option.
Also, i don't know if this could be even possible, but it would be cool to add multiplayer support, maybe with wifi, if that's possible?, but it would be awesome. Overall, it's good

None of my ganes seem to work. If it matters, all my games are in .z64 format. Every time I launch a game it crashes and I have to hold down the power button until it turns off.

I haven't followed this project in a long while but I am very impressed with the emulator! I wanted to know if there was a way to have the games be displayed in a 4:3 aspect ratio opposed to the full 3:2 aspect ratio of the 3ds' screen. I haven't read the page before this one and if my question has been answered already, through a recent build that addresses this problem, I'm sorry I haven't read through that yet and if possible could you give me a link to the newest build?
Thank you for your time

I made a save converter to convert your typical project64 save files to/from daedalus. It should work both ways, but I haven't tested too many save files. You replace the file that isn't the mpk.

Hi 👋🏼

I've just tried that, but it doesn't seem to work unfortunately...for Wii 64 .eep files at least. Maybe I did something wrong ? How do I call the output file ?

Thank you in advance.

Dude can't you read? Is only for project64 and daedalus. Nowhere is Wii 64 mentioned.
