How do I extract text from a GBC rom

How do I extract text from a GBC rom. I want to try and edit the text in Sakura Taisen GB but using feels like using the Hex Editor to edit the text would be to tedious. Is there any way to dump the game's text and then insert the edited text back into the game?

There's no universal way to edit text in ROMs aside from using a hex editor, and sometimes even that isn't enough by itself (ie, if there's compression or text is stored as graphics).

There's no way around it if you want to do any sort of ROM hacking. Find a good hex editor and get used to it.

Some translation projects use tools to extract the text from the rom into a text file for editing, and hopefully even put it back into the rom afterward - but you'd either have to write one specific for the game, or see if there's one (I don't know if there is) where you can configure it to the game in question.
