Hey everyone,

Im having a heck of a time successfully launching Breath of the Wild. Ive tried NXDumptool and AWOO, ive tried GameCard Installer. Nothing works. I have tried multiple versions of Atmosphere, dumped my keys a couple times with lockpick and totally wiped the sd card and started from scratch twice. No luck. No problems with any other game dumps (this is only my 4th try with a gamedump). I am really new to this whole switch homebrew world so if someone could explain to me like im 5 years old that would be great.

NXdump tool rips with error, Awoo fails to even start converting
GameCard Installer appers to work, i get my game on my home screen, but after i pick my profile and launch it errors out, after a couple times dealing with that, now it tells me my SD card is corrupted. I don't buy it, i have other games on the SD that work and its practically brand new, formatted in exFat, 256gb Sandisk.

i am also completely unsuccessful getting downloaded xci files to launch. Sometimes they error out when trying to convert in Awoo, sometimes the conversion is just fine but when i launch i get an error just like my BotW error.

You should format it to FAT32...and newest 17.1 Atmos., make sure you have the sigpatches in right place, and make sure auto enable cheats are turned off in system_settings.ini

Try Goldleaf 0.9 dev version, works great on 17.1 atmos

I don't think that will work for me. It did launch, but when i browse for my xci it gives no option to install. just copy rename etc. I have not been able to get nxdumptool to dump an nsp for whatever reason. it just wont do it. Unable to find file blablabla, failed to read block at blabla offset, dumpnintendosubmissionpackage: failed to read header from nca blablabla

i have my lockpick keys dumped to the root. im on whatever version of atmosphere the homebrew guide spit out to me when i selected my package.

I wiped my card, formatted to fat32 and dropped the most recent copy of Atmosphere on the switch and same result. Anyone have any idea what i might be doing wrong? Do i need any key other than my prod and title key? Is the root the correct place to put them?

Did you get and place the Keys.txt or prod.keys in right place?
If so, did u use the payload of Lock_pick, not just the homebrew folder version?
Need to run the Payload of lockpick to get all 10 keys needed...

Sounds like a sigpatch issue maybe too...you sure you have sigpatches in right folders

no, you need to payload Lock_pick to switch w tegra tool, or hekate, like u do w Primary-fusee, then get all keys, then re payload back to primary
you find the lock_pick payload here under payloads
https://www.sdsetup.com/
place the lockpick payload file in sd: bootloader/ payloads folder, next to primary-fusee file

I'd also read this,
https://github.com/ITotalJustice/patches
helps w installing sigpatches
since your just using fusee-primary, you only need the fusee.zip patches, which can get there

Update:lockpick_rcm found 19 titlekeys and 151 keys. After that i injected fusee and attempted to run my gamedump of zelda and it said my card was corrupted. I deleted the game and am now installing again.

I grabbed those patches and placed them in my atmosphere folder. Will update after i tried all this.

Def format your card to FAT32 and that wont happen again, u will need a pc app like AOMEI partition tool or many others free online, to be able format FAT32, windows wont

You will figure it out, it's always something. Happy to help. That's why GBATemp here. Best you have these problems now and learn why, so you will know for now on what's going yourself. Best way to learn, is to fail, but know why you failed, and correct that.:hateit:

It is fat32. I used an app to convert it. Unfortunately even with the sig patches it’s a no-go. Trying those patch files now.

Have you tried installing and running a game thru something else (goldleaf/awoo) to see if plays...maybe its a gamedump issue

Also keys.txt and prod.keys need to be in the Switch folder, not root

I did originally try to do this with nxdumptool and awoo. i have never been able to get tinfoil to load and only got goldleaf to run with your suggestion for .9. Any other converters you know of that can convert straight to nsp so i can try goldleaf?

if you using NSZ files - nsz_v3.1.1_win64_portable
If you using XCI files - 4nxci-v4.03_GUI

Those others may not have run because your keys.txt/prod.keys were not in right place...maybe

Try using TinWoo Installer as it is an evolution of Awoo Installer.
