I have a second Mariko Switch that I use for online play. If I want to install a SX core, activate license while still can and then disable or uninstall it so there is no trace. How do I go about doing that?

1. Install sx core
2. Dump emunand
3. Get license request file
4. Generate license from sx website
5. Boot into sx os and select “clean up”
6. Turn off Switch
7. Remove emmc module from flex cable and connect it back to original port

OR

5. Boot into sx os and select “genuine boot”
6. No need to restore emmc module back to original port

Can Nintendo still detect modification with just a “genuine boot” or do I have physically restore emmc connection?

Genuine boot removes modifications so it burns fuses, that's why the chip takes longer to boot next time round.

Genuine should be the same as disabling chip

Thanks,

By "Genuine boot removes modifications so it burns fuses" you mean the firmware check fuse count during booting right? It shouldnt change the actual fuse count unless I perform a system update in genuine boot state.

Also, do I need to perform clean up command in SX OS before genuine boot?

if you boot original firmware from main menu and update
the console doesnt normally burn fuses with chip installed

if you use genuine boot it removes all modifications so the firmware fuse check will kick in and burn them
this will change the fuse count if you already updated beforehand in "boot original" and then booted genuine

you dont need to clean before using genuine

Another quick question. If I want to play online. Can I still use the pirated sd card and boot into ofw ? Or should I swap to another clean sd card.

@The Real Jdbye, I thought about that and I have blank DVD's and Blurays but honestly after like 90 songs I just listen to it a couple of hundred times toss it out and burn something else or have like 2-3 CD's. Florida here the heat in the car tends to ruin the CD's after like a few months even commercial pressed ones don't last too long.
