Nintendo is taking this matter seriously. I’ve listed a switch lite has issues in touch screen with SX lite included and the listing was removed because of Nintendo. You never know what can happen to him. He might received notices from Nintendo before but he didn’t take them seriously. I just hope he’s ok and you all get your stuff back

It is a common thing on ebay, listing of hard modded units tend to get removed.

Man, that's unfortunate. Glad I got mine in early. I wonder if Nintendo got to Mod? Cease and desist? Totally understandable if that is the case.

Even getting burnt out makes sense. Doing a bunch of switches everyday for a couple month's gotta catch up to you at some point.

For those who received a tracking number and it's for USPS, keep in mind all the political BS that's causing massive delays with the postal service as well as other things. Basically every package I've received that's been shipped with USPS has been delayed in the last couple months, in some cases, 2-3 weeks after their ship date. I'm waiting on Priority mail stuff I bought literally August 1st that still has not showed up yet. This is likely the same exact scenario you're facing.

I would strongly suggest @ModderFokker619 to ship any other user's packages with another courier, regardless of the extra cost, because USPS is being rendered next to useless by a corrupt orange shit nugget and his lackeys.

My switch was sent from Canada on 10th of August.... He received it on the 15th in California.... He pretended that he shipped it back on the 17th of August.... He gave me a BS tracking number..... Today 26th of August when I try to track it... It says that they didn't have received any package from this sender...... Can you please explain to me.
Thanks

I couldn't say in your case, however the problem is that sorting machines in hundreds of USPS facilities have been removed/stopped from use. What this means is that scanning incoming packages, sorting them to their respective destination, and getting them on a truck are all going to take much longer than usual, especially as it has to go through this process multiple times as it moves across the country.

Your package could literally be sitting in a big ass pile in his local sorting facility somewhere, waiting to be scanned into their system. I'm not saying this is definitely the case, but it very well could simply be a case of the big massive fuckup the USPS is going through and not so much someone intentionally scamming you.

I have to agree with what @Tom Bombadildo said, with all going on with the USPS removing collection boxes, and sorting machines, you be surprised that you be getting any packages/mails here in the US, Beside @ModderFokker619 isn't known for stealing other people units. You should have paid for priority mail and have it insured

That being said, he still has my unit (actually it's my friend's unit, which makes it worse), and hasn't replied to any PM's (yet). I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt as I know he has a good reputation. I'll update this thread if anything changes. I'm just hoping everyone gets their stuff back, and that he's not in any serious legal trouble. I'm not sure how far these things are pursued by N.

Again, i'm a nobody here with not even a couple dozen posts but according to several independent research firms reported in the washington post at this article here https://www.washingtonpost.com/busi...spite-suspension-policies-blamed-mail-delays/

"According to private data, this summer’s mail woes appear to be only slightly worse than they were last year — and the delivery may be more related to the coronavirus pandemic. From July 1 through Aug. 15 — the period when DeJoy’s new policies were going into effect — 31 percent of mail was late, compared with the 26.5 percent from January to June, according to GrayHair Software, a leading provider of mail tracking data.

And this year, 27 percent of tracked mail was considered late, compared with 23 percent over the same period in 2019. But delivery woes were worse in the first part of 2020 — just as the pandemic hit — than during the summer, when compared with the same periods last year.

GrayHair Software is one of the companies that tracks the speed of U.S. mail using “intelligent mail” bar codes on many letters and packages, providing detailed data on the movement from drop-off to delivery for the majority of mail traffic, including bank statements, nonprofit solicitations and retail catalogues.

The average delay for late mail is one to two days, the company said.

Bar code tracking is considered by many mail-dependent businesses to be more sensitive and up to date than the Postal Service’s own on-time performance data, which in its most recent release showed a long-running decline in on-time mail through June 30.

“There doesn’t appear to be a systemic problem,” said Angelo Anagnostopoulos, vice president of postal affairs for GrayHair Software."

I'm not even going to attempt to argue with level bazillion Reviewer @Tom Bombadildo here, and frankly I'd like to discourage this thread devolving into a political fray, as that's not the urgent topic of discussion. All I'm saying is that a few days delay in the average mail piece is hardly to blame for the loss of an entire package with tracking and hopefully insurance.

Well it is quite possible, MatinatorX, the creator of DragonInjector and DragonMMC, has been hit by a C&D by Nintendo. No idea if ModderFokker619 got hit with a cease and desist. In place like Japan they have like Anti Modding law that it is illegal to mod in that country, that why shop like Katsukity went of business.

This is my feeling exactly. As mentioned before TONS of people have had GREAT experiences with him (including me a few weeks ago). I think people would agree he was OVER communicative. That's what makes it so odd and alarming. He HAS my friends Switch. I would have zero problem if he said exactly what you just did. Taking some time off, personal problems, etc. But to log in multiple times a day, and still not let anyone know if he's even in business, is what troubles me. I vouched for him, so as of now I need to replace my friend's Switch.

Do you have any messages from 08/19 or after? The last contact I had with him was 08/18.

I received pictures and tracking number from him on Sunday 8/23 and sent him payment to his CashApp account on Monday 8/24. My tracking number went live around 10PM local San Diego Time 8/24. Shows received in local delivery facility in [myhidden state and city] for delivery tomorrow.

Honestly, to me that's the only thing that makes sense. Mine actually isn't a case of being in the mail, since the day it was delivered TO him, was the day he went off the grid. So while some users having tracking info, I do not. I'm just hoping for the best.

yeah I would say we don't know what's going on i'm suspecting some form of C&D/ legal threat for him to suddenly go dark and now declare he isn't offering service any more, or it may be some personal issue, either way it would appear he is trying to get peoples systems back to them, if he did indeed receive a legal threat it would be understandable he is pretty shaken up right now and might be affecting his ability to reply in too much detail to people etc not knowing what he can do legally would no doubt be worrying for him to deal with and he wouldn't know what exactly he is allowed to even say regarding the matter, here is hoping people all get their systems returned ok and everyone can just put this behind them, also hoping everything is good with him and he isn't in any serious trouble and its just a C&D, these concerns are why I never even considered doing any switch mods, with the 3DS it was simply 4 wires, no "mod chip" involved, I was always concerned Nintendo would take switch mod chip installing more seriously legally speaking

I just got my unit back from @ModderFokker619. Here are proof pictures and it is the exact same serial number unit that I sent to him (blacked out in this picture but I’m willing to disclose this to a moderator). Based on this and his recent communications I would be hopeful that if he is still in possession of your items that he will be returning them to you soon. I do have a question though...

I have not booted this unit yet because I may have set i up for access to my home wifi before i sent it for mod. I want to make sure that i don't inadvertently connect to Nintendo servers and get insta-banned on connection with my home wifi. I have not turned on the power yet, are there any steps i need to follow to make sure it doesn't try to connect to nintendo when i boot it up?

I’ll also post a pic of it booted to prove working mod was installed to ease anyone’s mind.

Also these two parts were still in the xecuter box, I assume they go with a v1 switch since I have a v2 switch??
