That's how I remembered this place before seeing it referenced years later on various forums for a lot of the community efforts on games.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but since you have asked it and with the link @Scarlet has provided, I need to know where is the mighty KiVan that founded this site right now? How's he doing, does he still have a share of "ownership" of this site like power over its management anytime if he wants it since he is "special" for being the founder? Who owns the site right now and have power over everything of it and how does the power transfer, is it like from one CEO to another or being/ceasing to be board of director, similar process like that?

Costello and shaunj both currently run/"own" the site (IIRC shaunj took it over from KiVan, and recruited Costy as a sort of co-owner).
KiVan has no real "authority" here, and is just off doing real life stuff. He pops in occasionally, but he hasn't posted publicly since 2008. I assume Costy or shaunj may occasionally hear from him, but otherwise I doubt he really cares what goes on with the site at this point.
