I don't mean exact positions or anything, but IIRC on N64, Kokiri Forest having a Skulltula icon meant that all Skulltulas in that area were found. Hoping that they are still as loud as they were before, it shouldn't be that big of an issue figuring out remaining ones

You do get a pin as an early skull reward (maybe 20?) that glows when you're near one. That was certainly helpful. On top of that they have a gold spider web where they'll spawn if you're there in the day and they're a night only spawn. Small changes but they are nice ones.

HOLY CRAP yeah if you go on the map it'll tell you how many Skulls and Heart Pieces you have out of the total available per area. I never even knew the map existed lol

Oh I guess it's relevant to say this is on the Europe server. I forgot they were split lol

Anybody else planning to check out Monster Hunter Outlanders at the end of the month?

IF it runs on a old Redmi Note 11, i might.
The deed is done. Game beaten without so much as trying to recruit an ally. Holy crap what a final map. I think eight of those 26 hours were spent trying to figure it out, and subsequently pulling it off. Can't wait to actually start the game now!

I shall spare y'all another post on Fire Emblem until I get the review sorted, but if anybody is interested, I just put an unboxing of the Dagdan Collection alongside some early thoughts into a video:

Review will be at least a few weeks out, but it'll definitely get done.
Oh yeah, didn't find the time for a write up on this one, but I did make a video with some brief thoughts on Orbitals:

Admittedly did struggle a little with exactly what to show/talk about. I really do find it hard when a game is so short. Like if I talk about everything I like, there'll not be that much left to discover by playing lol

It appears to be your less viewed video. I can see why because it's not really a full review per se or aligns with the rest of your content, more or less it's just the algorithm screwing things up for smaller creators.

As for the game itself, it's just co-op minigames having that filmgrain & dim color spacing in the background in the style of early anime for the time. Seems to be pretty good.
Hot damn it scales well too.

Android handhelds are surprisingly seamless when docking. All the controls I mapped previously just work fine with the Ultimate 3E, assumedly because the internal controls are also XInput.

The main annoyance is that emulators don't automatically switch the input device. So you always have to go in and manually change it. I much prefer the way Gamenative handles it, it just works.

Oh interesting, on the Odin 2 Mini it’s no fuss at all. I move between built in controls and the Ultimate 3E without any issues. Could be an emulator thing, pretty much just been playing PSP so for for Portable 3rd.

Haven't played PSP yet, maybe since it's a handheld it isn't multiplayer, so it can just auto switch to whichever controller is in use. But home console emulators need you to set which controller to use per player.
Seeing Outlanders got me in a Monster Hunting mood...

Finally got around to setting up iisu, and now I have a Monster Hunter handheld! With one space left for Outlanders when it launches! Been having a blast with Portable 3rd in my travels to and from the office, it's the only game in the series I've never really played properly.
Very much recommend this if you enjoy writing:

Current competition is closing today, but the next one is pretty soon in November. Only £10 to enter and a chunk of that supports wildlife conservation, so it's a solid cause.

    The what prize?!

It's a pun on the Blue-Footed Booby, and the fact that a consolation prize is commonly known as a booby prize :teach:
