    I think the wildest thing about shiny hunting for me is that somewhere in the world, some guy just pressed A on this Poke Ball once and got a silver Eevee. That's awesome.

    Naaaaah, it's not much the fact it's shiny that I like. It's the memory of doing stupid shit to get it. Making a fully automated and reusable setup is pretty up there for me, and it makes a nice thing to watch while I do other things if nothing else lol

    The real thrill is to randomly find a shiny when you expect it the least.

    It only happened to me like 2-3 times, and 2 of them I missed, but the last one let me catch it once I threw a stack of ultra balls to it lol

    I'm 2643 resets deep into a shiny Eevee hunt on FireRed. Looking at roughly 140 resets per hour, I get the impression this will take a while lol.

    Man I only just noticed we only have two Switch 2 game reviews... I shall try to rectify this in the coming weeks. I'll definitely be covering Pokopia, but is there anything else people would be interested in?

    Gosh I just found out Yona of the Dawn concluded at the end of last year… I’ve got so much to play and read already… I don’t have time for 45+ volumes…….. but it’s so good……..

    I wonder if we'll see custom injects of other GBA games using FireRed and LeafGreen as a base. Would be neat if the wireless capabilities just worked with other ROMs.

    it probably uses the wireless adapter code and would only work with games supporting that?

    Yeah my question is more whether it's just an emulator that'll functionally have a wireless adapter in, or if anything more specific was done to these games. If Emerald could just be dropped in and communicate with the official ports, that'd be huge.

    That's since Jan 20th. It's a lot of YouTube, sure, but I'm almost more surprised I've spent more time reading/listening to audiobooks than playing games??

    Yeah basically. I'll probably stick a timer into the app itself at some point to make it a little more streamlined, but I just wanted to get it off the ground more than anything so I could start collecting data. It's functional enough at the moment, if a little bare:

    It should get less manual over time, but yeah for now it at least gets the job done while I think up and add in the more automated bits.

    Hot damn, PC gaming on Android is incredible?? Got 15 games installed that all run great. Yu-Gi-Oh actually uses less power being emulated here than when I run it on my ROG Ally lol

    Yeah but with no cross save. I've been waiting and hoping on it for so long, Balatro's achievements are one heck of a grind, it feels a waste to play and not be contributing towards them.

    I just play casually on my phone though so I don't bother syncing the save data with PC every time. Though I do wish there was a mod or something to sync save data automatically (maybe there is)

    @Jiehfeng Well, every invention is copied no matter what. They take whatever is popular and integrate it themselves, even the minimalism that Apple incorporated first became now widespread in the modern era. And because of the rise of AI, it has become disappointing.

    Yeah but usually with a 4PX tracking number I can at least see where the parcel is sat lol, I just like having more info. From memory I think these kinds of delays are to do with needing to group a certain number of packages together before they can be sent, so they can just sit at an outbound facility for a while.

    Level5 have been hitting it out of the park with free updates between Inazuma Eleven and Fantasy Life. Wasn't expecting a full roguelike mode at all.

    Man I'm so happy to see that Inazuma isn't just being left post-launch. The updates have been great so far, and there's still free actual content updates to come.

    Yeah, Victory Road. Came out a few weeks ago on PC, Switch/2, XB, and PS.

    Something about seeing Tomb Raider next to Pokemon and Mario just feels wrong... Gone through the opening sequence so far though and it runs well though! Looks about how I remember the PS4 version looking too, which is fine enough in my mind.
