    It also is weird to me how well gc runs on new hardware, but it is a 20 year old game that ran on a system with less than 50 mb of ram

    The aspect ratio will probably cause some issues with Dusklight.

    Yeah I have done a quick test with it before work this morning and the UI elements seem to be the problem. Obviously the lack of an analogue stick doesn't help either lol. Does run well at least.

    got next week off work, very tempted to throw all of that time at Tales of Arise. Switch 2 port seems really solid.

    damn, the ultimate edition of echoes of aincrad coming with a full ass movie sure is something. not entirely sure it warrants an extra £40 on top of the base game price, but it is neat.

    can rom hack creators PLEASE just learn to upload patches and not whole ass roms

    i cant report on links to roms and it pisses me off

    I know, it doesn't have proper hash verification and that it only relies on patching bytes within the ROM according to its offsets-this is only an example. I understand that patching the ROM and uploading it to make it accessible removes that extra step of doing it manually, but they gotta remember that Nintendo's lawyers roam the site often.

    Honestly can't blame them; if they're starting out on ROM hacking, they can get misguided in the wrong direction without even knowing what to do after modifying the ROM. There's plenty of tutorials online as to how to make ROM hacks which also go into depth with creating the patches.

    Still on my todo list: Create an XDelta, etc patcher for Vita. Or maybe Google AI can do it. It wrote me an MP3 IDv3 tag stripper in Lua Player Plus (Vita) with directory recursion. Didn't try it out yet.

    man the Pokopia review is late, but I'm pretty happy with it. having it finished is a huge weight off my shoulders, I can move onto Stories 3 without a shadow lurking over me lol

    I still can't believe they censored Death Stranding for the Director's Cut. What kind of director would cut such a crucial thing as the Monster Energy branding?? How else am I supposed to connect with the main character??

    A "Director's Cut" will often be uncensored and/or including stripped out assets that never made it to the final, so it's a shame they never promised their fans this. Censorship should be made illegal, and let's not forget regional game titles (unless there is a good reason).

    Was hoping to get a Pokopia review out this week, but 30ish hours deep I'm still only the second trainer rank... At this rate, maybe next week is more likely... In the meantime, I made a farm. My Ditto is very happy about it.
