Looks like that was the problem. Is there a reason some systems needs to do this?

Also, now it initially says "Couldn't find folder: s8ds" ... if I go into the menu and load ROM.SMS or ROM.GG it will play. I'm assuming this has to do with it using an older version of S8DS. Do I need to place the roms into a "s8ds" root folder now to avoid this error?

Thanks, Robz8

The RAM disk made by nds-bootstrap doesn't contain a "s8ds" folder.
A fix would need to be implemented into the RAM disk template in nds-bootstrap.

I discovered a game (Okamiden) works fine in Ys Menu firmware off my flashcart, but is buggy in latest nds-bootstrap firmware release.

Is there a way to boot a game directly off the Ys Menu firmware from TWiLight Menu++? (Without ever needing to open the flashcart's firmware menu itself)?

Hello.:)

Can you please be a little more specific please ?
What exactly means "buggy" ?
I think you use the US Rom,if you mean "Okami Den".
The Game starts and all is ok.
Would you be so kind and tell us what is not working for you please ? :)
Please be sure you have the latest TWiLight Version v14.2.0 and nds-bootstrap v0.34.0.

Thank you for your Help.:)

Yeah the game boots fine, but get to the part where you have to make your first circle with the brush: The brush stroke is sporadic and glitchy. You have to try multiple times and get lucky to be able to make a circle without nds-bootstrap releasing the brush stroke. That was on 0.33.0. I'll try on 0.34.0 after I finish the update

Yeah, I'm on an Old 3DS. I was going to make a GitHub issue.

(Actually I just finished making it: https://github.com/ahezard/nds-bootstrap/issues/920 )

I assume you are a developer? Thank you for your kindness & fast response

Can I add a "3DS Widescreen Patch?" column to the compatibility Google Sheet? (Dropdown Options = Yes / No / N/A) I'd just port the data from TWiLightMenu.7z > "Games supported with widescreen.txt" so all that infos in the same place

@Robz8
Attached are new patches for Okamiden (BOO/E/J/P), given the current ones aren't working...I have tested. Drawing a circle for the sun can be finicky. You must draw a complete circle in 1 attempt.

Regards,
Retro

Thank you !!

Funny,I have tried it many Times with your Patches (over 20 Minutes).
.....and it simply does not work....

Then I want to make a Video for you and.....it worked on the second Try,the first Time.:D

Yes,it IS very tricky,no Question.:)

Thank you.:)

Greetings, I'm in need of someone who knows a bout this I own a DSLite with the r4 clone flashcard: upgrade revolution III. it is a flashcard with no dldi patch as of now It has the 3.13 firmware and I've done all the steps of this forum for flashcard users(copying both _nds folders and BOOT.nds to the root), but every time I run BOOT.nds from the latest twilightmenu++(v14.2.0), my screen cuts to white and I have to reset.

The next thing I tried was running it through Wood, which I couldn't find for my flashcard so I used a special version called WAIO which works just like the wood kernel. So now if I run BOOT.nds with wood I can see the starting animation of twilightmenu with Robz8's magnificent profile picture but then it cuts to white again, maybe it was a step in the right direction but it still doesn't work and I don't kknow what to try now. (again, I haven't found any dldi patch for R4 v3)

sorry for the inconvenience (I sent a similar post to this on april 5th haha) but this is all pretty new to me and from what I've seen the people who answer questions here are gods among men XD

Try deleting "settings.ini" at "fat:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/".

I was playing Okamiden EU 2 months ago I didn't see any bugs
I don't remember what version of nds bootstrap it was, but I played it on arm9, maybe in arm7 it doesn't run well?
