Without going into too much detail, right now it's looking very good for things proceeding as they have been. Expect more news in a few weeks - I'll be seeing my lawyer with a DMMC and DI v20 prototype in hand, and there will be news on all three topics right after I finish with that.

I'm still waiting for the new v20 prototype board to show up, Chinese New Year and the Corona virus outbreak are causing delays. The DragonMMC prototype is coming along with it. Once I have working prototypes of both I will be speaking with my lawyer regarding my projects, after which, if that goes well, I'll make an announcement and things should start moving again.
I've already spoken with another copyright lawyer, and I've been doing a lot behind the scenes to make sure everything is nice and legal and to reduce any risks. It's looking good, I just want to speak to my own lawyer as a last step to be sure.

Finally got the latest v20 prototype boards and they work great! Moving on to getting injection molded shells now. More news soon.

Thanks, I've been following this thread for a while now - looks like a decent payload injector - one thing, is the chip on this ATsamd21? The reason I ask is that I have my own custom code I wrote which does some other stuff (apart from sending a payload), and i'd like to be able to change the code on your chip to my own code.
It is, but there's a caveat. In order to fit everything in, I had to use the ATSAMD21E16C, which is the highest spec WLCSP35 package. That means that instead of the normal 32kb of sram and 256kb of flash you'd get with a Trinket M0, there's only 8kb of sram and 64kb of flash, so your code might not fit depending on how big it is.
If you want a look at the source you can pop over to source.dragoninjector.com to see how everything fits into 64kb.
